By creating an account or downloading the MexiGuide mobile application, you expressly accept these Terms of Service ("Terms"). For features accessible without an account, your use of the Service constitutes implied acceptance of these Terms.
MexiGuide ("the Service") includes the website at mexiguide.org and the MexiGuide mobile application, operated by Rumbotech Labs. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
MexiGuide provides travel information, city guides, safety maps, emergency resources, and travel tools for people visiting or living in Mexico. The Service includes both free and premium features.
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice (Aviso de Privacidad) and the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares, "LFPDPPP").

MexiGuide provides safety information for general guidance only. Safety conditions in Mexico can change rapidly. While we strive to keep our safety maps, zone ratings, and alerts up to date, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of all safety data.

MexiGuide provides emergency contact information and features as a convenience. These features are not a substitute for calling local emergency services directly. We do not guarantee the availability or response time of any emergency service listed in the app.
MexiGuide contains affiliate links to third-party services including eSIM providers, insurance companies, VPN services, and tour operators. When you purchase through these links, MexiGuide may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
We are not responsible for the products, services, or policies of third-party providers. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
All content, design, graphics, logos, and software in MexiGuide are owned by Rumbotech Labs or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
If you submit reviews, tips, or other content to MexiGuide, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You retain full ownership of your content.
You may request deletion of your content at any time by contacting us at legal@mexiguide.org, and we will remove it within 30 days.
This license does not affect your moral rights under Mexican copyright law (Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor). You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MexiGuide and Rumbotech Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from:
Nothing in this section limits liability for damages caused by gross negligence (culpa grave), willful misconduct (dolo), or fraud by MexiGuide or Rumbotech Labs, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Mexican law, including the Federal Consumer Protection Law (Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MexiGuide, Rumbotech Labs, and their officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your willful violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
Likewise, Rumbotech Labs shall indemnify users for direct damages caused by the platform's own negligence or failure to comply with these Terms.
Free accounts: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.
Paid/premium accounts: We will provide at least 15 calendar days' written notice before terminating your account, along with a pro-rata refund for any unused prepaid period, unless termination is due to a material violation of these Terms.
For premium subscriptions purchased through the app or website, you have the right to cancel within 5 business days of purchase for a full refund, in accordance with Article 56 of the Federal Consumer Protection Law (Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor). These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Mexican States (Estados Unidos Mexicanos).
For consumer disputes, you may file a complaint before the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor, PROFECO). For judicial disputes, the parties submit to the competent courts in Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them by reason of domicile.
We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you at least 30 calendar days in advance via email or in-app notification. If you do not agree with the changes, you may terminate your account before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
