Getting Around

Taxco is a hillside town with narrow one-way streets. Walking is the main way to explore the centro, though VW Beetle taxis (the iconic local transport) navigate the steep lanes. Combis run between neighborhoods. First-class buses connect to Mexico City (~3 hr) and Cuernavaca (~1.5 hr).
