Getting Around

Palenque town is compact and walkable. Combis run between town and the archaeological zone (~8 km). Taxis are plentiful and inexpensive. ADO buses connect to Villahermosa, San Cristóbal, Campeche, and Mérida. A rental car is helpful for reaching Agua Azul and Misol-Ha waterfalls.
